Dental Implants
Tooth loss not only compromises your smile, but also affects your ability to bite and chew as normal. Dental implants represent the gold standard for tooth replacement, offering you a chance at complete aesthetic and functional restoration.
Our practice uses real-time 3D navigation to ensure clinical precision, abbreviating your implant placement time and minimizing the risk of complication. Once fully healed, your implants will look and behave like natural teeth and allow you to enjoy your favorite foods.

Most people get their wisdom teeth during their late teens or early 20s. Because the jaw is too small to accommodate these teeth, they become impacted, leading to problems such as chronic discomfort, cyst formation, and damage to your other teeth.
The best way to avoid these long-term complications is to have your wisdom teeth proactively removed under IV sedation. Our surgeons have considerable experience with this safe, common procedure, and we are known for always emphasizing the comfort and well-being of each patient.

If you’re missing multiple teeth, or need to have multiple teeth extracted, then you may be a good candidate for All-on-4® dental implants. This advanced treatment concept allows us to replace entire rows or arches of teeth using a small number of strategically positioned implants.
The All-on-4® treatment concept is popular not only because it provides a second chance for patients faced with significant tooth loss, but because advanced surgical methods help to abbreviate treatment and recovery times. With All-on-4® dental implants, we can provide total smile rehabilitation.
Learn MoreTooth Extractions
Your dentist’s primary goal is to preserve your natural teeth for a lifetime. In some cases, this goal may not be achievable, as a tooth can become so damaged or diseased that it is no longer viable.
In these situations, the best approach is to have the unhealthy tooth extracted, something our surgeons can do safely and expediently. We can provide a range of anesthesia options to mitigate any discomfort, including IV sedation. And we can talk with you about different options to replace the extracted tooth, including dental implants.

Frequently Asked Questions
Dental implants are designed to be a long-term solution for replacing missing teeth. With proper care, they can easily last for decades, and many people enjoy their implants for a lifetime. This means brushing and flossing diligently, just as you would with your natural teeth, and staying on top of regular dental checkups and professional cleanings. While the implants themselves are very durable, the crowns or bridges attached to them might need occasional replacement due to wear and tear, but the implants underneath should remain strong and stable.
In most cases, it’s never too late to consider dental implants. Age isn’t usually a barrier, and even if you’ve experienced some bone loss in your jaw, we have ways to address that. Techniques like bone grafting can help rebuild the jawbone to provide a solid foundation for the implants. Your oral surgeon will carefully evaluate your overall health and the condition of your jawbone to determine the best approach for your specific needs.
If you’re getting All-on-X implants, you’ll receive a temporary prosthesis immediately. This allows you to eat, speak, and smile naturally without feeling self-conscious. The temporary teeth also help protect the implant sites and maintain the shape of your gums and jaw. Once your implants have fully healed and integrated, we’ll replace the temporary teeth with your permanent, custom-made restoration.
However, if it’s not an All-on-X implant case, your general dentist may or may not fabricate a temporary prosthesis for the patient while the implant is healing.
Most people find that they recover from wisdom teeth removal within about a week. You can expect some soreness and swelling for a few days after the procedure, but this is completely normal. To help speed up healing and minimize discomfort, it’s important to follow your surgeon’s post-operative instructions carefully. This typically includes getting plenty of rest, applying ice packs to the area, and sticking to soft foods for a few days. By the second week, most of the discomfort should subside, and you’ll be back to your normal routine.
Thanks to local anesthesia or IV sedation, you won’t feel any pain during the actual wisdom tooth removal procedure. You’ll be completely numb and comfortable throughout. After the surgery, you might experience some mild to moderate discomfort and swelling, but this can be effectively managed with prescribed or over-the-counter pain medications. Following your surgeon’s aftercare instructions, such as keeping the area clean and avoiding certain foods, will also help you reduce pain and recover with minimal discomfort.
All-on-4 dental implants are designed to support a full arch of replacement teeth. This typically means anywhere from 10 to 14 teeth, depending on your individual needs and the design of the prosthesis. The beauty of the All-on-4 technique is that it uses only four strategically placed implants to provide a stable and secure foundation for an entire arch of teeth. This approach can streamline treatment time and recovery compared to traditional implant methods.
While All-on-4 implants offer a secure and comfortable fit, it’s still possible for small food particles to occasionally find their way under the prosthesis. However, with proper oral hygiene, this is easily managed. We’ll provide you with instructions and specially designed cleaning tools to help you keep the area clean and free of debris. Regular dental checkups are also important to ensure everything is in good shape.
