What to Expect With BOTOX Treatment
Dr. Garibyan and Dr. Kuang perform BOTOX injections in the comfort of our office. First, we will see you for a consultation to discuss your cosmetic goals and explore your treatment options. If BOTOX is right for you, we will schedule a time for you to receive your injection.
BOTOX is administered with an ultra-fine needle. Most patients report only feeling a pinch. Because the needle is so small, anesthesia is not necessary. We may use a topical numbing cream to numb the area for your comfort. We will inject BOTOX in the areas where you would like smoother-looking skin and you can leave our office shortly after. It takes about 10 minutes per injection visit—you can stop by during lunch!
How Long Does BOTOX Last?
The Effects of BOTOX will start to show between 1-3 days after the injection, with peak effects occurring around 2 weeks later. The results typically last an average of 4 months. You can repeat BOTOX injections every 3–4 months to achieve and maintain the results you desire.
